Yes Airiel are definitely one of the better shoegaze bands of the last 10 years. Their album The Battle Of Sealand is pretty good although it is a bit patchy in places. The opening track though is brilliant.
I'm more into their Winks & Kisses EPs, especially Frosted and Melted. I prefer the sound on those EPs as they're a lot dreamier-sounding and more engaging. This song is fantastic: They're supposed to be releasing a new EP sometime soon but nothing seems to be appearing yet.

One of my favorite shoegaze bands. And they are fellow Indiana folk! From Bloomington (so I'm assuming they went to IU). My sister went there. Good stuff...can't wait for another album.
