Default Memphis

On Saturday I was on my lunch break driving around backroads listening to the CBC. I forget what they were talking about but it got onto the responsibility of photographers or something - actually now that i think about it it was a segment about photos- and then they played this song to wrap it up.

They said it was inspired by some controversial movie about filming people who jump off of bridges to commit suicide.

I thought it was a really good song that had some interesting subject matter.

Anyway the band is Mephis, the song is I Am The Photographer, and the album is Here Comes a City.

Seems like a good album too. And it came out on March 8, 2011.

Nice! I like it, Ian. I previewed a few of the songs from their album and the song 'Wait!' appealed to me as well.

I like that one too. I just got the whole album, it's good on the whole.

Isn't this Torquil Campbell's (Stars) side project? I'm pretty sure this is their second album.

EDIT: It's actually their fourth album.

Yes it is his side project. Thanks, I'll have to look at their wiki page.
