I've never really seen it as front-loaded. I've always enjoyed latter tracks such as 'Asleep At The Trigger' and 'Capital Kind Of Strain' immensely, it's a very consistent album.
The first time I heard Autolux I actually didn't think much of them. The song 'Blanket' was included on a magazine compilation I got in summer 2005 and although I didn't think it was bad, it just wasn't my cup of tea at the time, I was more into louder and heavier stuff. It wasn't until a couple of years ago when I went back and listened to the song that I thought "hey this is actually pretty good". I downloaded the album and I was kind of undecided at first, but I kept listening and listening to it and after a while it just clicked and my mind was blown.
