Tom Brosseau
So, I love this guy. A singer-songwriter from North Dakota, he has a very delicate style akin at times to Elliott Smith minus the angst but perhaps equally as forlorn. He has a more idiosyncratic vocal style, and his music has a greater folk influence. He employs electric atmospherics into some of his songs.
Anyway, my favourite release is Empty Houses Are Lonely, there is one song, "Hurt To Try" which I am particularly enamoured with... but I cannot find it anywhere, along with the rest of that album, on the net to share with you. So have this: Looks like a **** in this one but the song is good. And it's the only one I could find from EHAL |
