I've only heard "Take Me Out" which I enjoyed.

It seems to have dated less and have more longevity than a lot of white boy guitar bands from Britain in the last few years.
Consider yourself lucky, don't waste your time on it.

What a load of patent nonsense. It's a fine album with numerous good songs, good to great lyrics and some interesting experimental touches. It is not so much a departure from the quality of the debut like the second pile of crap released by the Libertines.

I'm quite the Ferdy fan it has to be said, and i think they've always deserved a bit of hype even with hindsight.
And jesus there's nothing wrong with the 2nd album, in fact for quite a while i thought it was better than the first (not sure about that now though). Don't see why it gets so much bad press. It's those same dancey songs but with a harder edge, what's not to like?
New album soon, yays.

Franz Ferdinand has always been the band I thought I'd never like, but I was pleasantly surprised when I listened to their first album (long ago!). But I still haven't got around to listening to their second album yet.

They are not a rock band, they are pop.

Perhaps this was a bit harsh, I just found the album boring and dissapointing, and just a waste of my money. Perfer the first maybe the 3rd will be just as good or better that their last.

An attack at me? Well I might actual care about that if I still liked the Libertines.
