Here's another nomination for you since the list is looking a bit skimpy:
![]() Felt - Forever Breathes The Lonely Word (1986) A brilliant album of pop-infused, literate 80's indie. The collision of chiming Rickenbacker guitars and organ is unique and blends together so well as it was the most natural thing in the world. The album invokes feelings of both romance and misery as well as sounding quite upbeat at times. An essential UK indie release.
