You actually know about it?

... Yeah? They're not THAT obscure of a band.

Maybe not as obscure as Kaoru Abe, but I thought they were pretty obscure.

Haha, remove your head from your arse dude, other people have heard of the so-called 'obscurities' you apparently pride yourself on knowing.

I don't really pride myself on anything. I was just happy to know that you knew about them. Where I live, most people do not know of artists like them.

I was semi-joshing with you. I'm the same with some bands. Rest assured, you'll have my vote on this one, you got As The Bluebird sings? I think that one may be a little better, toughy though.

Yea, I've got that. I just thought Through the Ides of March would've been an appropriate album to start off with (As the Bluebird Sings is a bit less accessible for some). Dry Land is their most accessible album, but it really doesn't exemplify that Whisper in the Noise sound like their debut and Bluebird..

I havent got Dry Land, it's on my list though. As is the collaboration with If Thousands.

Here's another nomination

The Telescopes - Taste (1989)
This was the band's debut album and it's a very nice collision of JAMC-esque noise and feedback, snarling punk intensity, and some nice experimental spaced-out moments in the vain of Spacemen 3. It was a key influence on the shoegaze scene that followed in the early-90's and even right up to the present day.
