Absolution isn't terrible, it's just their weakest album, it's more mainstream than the others. Showbiz is my favorite Muse album, it has some really amazing songs, such as Unintended, Hate This & I'll Love You, and Fillip. Origin is also great, but to me it is slightly inferior to Showbiz.

To be honest it's just a personal prefferance.

Haha theres more then just you who love Bellamy's (have I got the right guy?) voice but I can't seem to enjoy it. Muse aren't for me.

yeah, i definitely agree that absolution is their weakest. Not sure if it's neccesarily more "mainstream" than the others, to me it seems as though it's not a varied as their other albums, which is what i like about them. so depending on what you mean by mainstream, i guess you could call it that.

Well they didn't come up for me, and the last one was from May so I think that it doesn't matter that much.

Back to Muse:

Jibber, haha ok I hope they do because I like the eerie sensualness of his voice, it's great!

I don't know if I think mainstream makes an album bad eh.

yeah, that's kind of what i was saying, I think calling an album "mainstream" as a reason not to like it is often just a cop-out for when you can't think of a reason you don't like it. and I love his voice too
