Muse are a prog rock group from the UK that is just now getting national attention (in the US at least). They have four albums out if you count imports, and they're fairly new, think late 90's. I've only gotten into them since Absolution, but they're my favorite new band. They've very theatrical and they sound like a rock-opera. I dunno, think Radiohead meets Queen. I don't know what kind of images that mixture would put in your head, but trust me it's good.

Default Muse

just seen Muse live, and i can quite honestly say it was the best gig ive ever been to. they were truely awesome. a lot of people are saying Muse are the greatest live band in the country and i can see why. ive seen the likes of radiohead, franz ferdinand, Blink 182 (yes, ****), RHCP, U2, coldplay, oasis, Megadeth and marilyn manson but i can honestly say Muse blow them all away. highlight had to be finale of Stockholme Syndrome- crazy.
who else has seen them live and what did you think?

I saw them a few months ago, and they were amazing. Just so much energy, a really tight performance, great vocals, great everything basically. I'd definitely agree that it was one of the best, if not the best show i've been to.

I saw them and thought they were pretty good, just a bit too self-indulgent for my tastes every so often.

I used to use the same internet music chat room as Matt Bellemy before Muse recorded their first album around 98/99 , the guy was a total arse & because of that i`ve never been able to take the sub Queen bollocks they put out seriously.

On the other hand he did email me some pictures once of a female dutch fan 'showing him some love'
