Who is Muse, and why am I just now learning of them? How long have they been out? How many albums do they have out? where are they from?

Muse are a prog rock group from the UK that is just now getting national attention (in the US at least). They have four albums out if you count imports, and they're fairly new, think late 90's. I've only gotten into them since Absolution, but they're my favorite new band. They've very theatrical and they sound like a rock-opera. I dunno, think Radiohead meets Queen. I don't know what kind of images that mixture would put in your head, but trust me it's good.

They are amazing. I love the bass line in Butterflies and Hurricanes. The lyrics are pretty amazing too.

And the bass line from time is running out. Sexiest bass line I've heard in a while. ~<(".<)

Muse are so understated it is unbelievable, there are far too many people out there who don't know who they are. The whole feel of their songs is just amazing, and their musical abilities are stunning! I can't praise them enough, they're just one of those bands i would absolutely love to see live!

I quite like them actually, I went to a concert and have all the albums and I love the fact that butterflies and hurricanes is so different from what is around at the mo. Everyone I talk 2 recently seem to have something of theirs in their cd players so yeah, if u dont listen...start now
