Yes but the first part of my post was in response to large portions of this thread addressing the needless, unimaginative postings of people I can only assume are 12 years old and the rest of my post was in response to the rest of the thread and the main discussion going on. I wasnt using Muse's commercial value, or lack thereof (whichever way you look at it) as an explanation for whether or not I like them. Quote:
As far as I can tell you think the same way I do regarding Muse. Muse tend to release commercial singles and have some very non commercial album tracks. It could be argued that this is largely responsible for their success. I fell in love with tracks like Citizen Erased, Micro Cuts, Space Dementia etc that have little chance of getting any radio play while the likes of Plug In Baby was getting played around the clock on commercial radio. I offered this as a compromise, as it means both sides of the argument are correct in my opinion and I still got flamed for it so I would just give up. You can underline the phrase "majority of Muses material" as much as you want in every single one of your posts until your blue in the face but people are clearly refusing to read that part as it would take away the ammunation they need to argue over the internet, and we all know how important that is. |
