For me Origin is the best album the band will ever make. I enjoy Showbiz and would love to see them play more stuff from it live. Black Holes and Revelations was very good and although I DO like Absolution I always found it to be their poorest record by far.

Stockholm Syndrome off Absolution gets me pretty pumped.

This was a cool vid I saw a few years ago but could only find this crappy version of it.

YouTube - muse - stockholm syndrome

YouTube - Muse - Butterflies & Hurricanes

Ive finally given Black Holes and Revelations a proper listen and it's really great. The singer sounds like a young Thom Yorke, but anyway what album should I get next?

Absolution is probably their strongest but Origin of Symmetry is also good. HAARP is an ok album but the sound isn't as good as it should be.

I actually think Showbiz is their strongest album, followed by Origin of Symmetry. Most people think Absolution is the best though, so what do I know <_< And Hullabaloo only has a few good tracks.

What did you like about Black Holes? What were yourt favourite tracks on it?

For the poppier, catchier singles check Absolution out. For everything else and certainly better songwriting get Origin of Symmetry.

EW, Black Holes is horrid, it really is. It's so self indulgent and OTT. Showbiz, Origins and Absolution are all good albums, but they went well down in my estimation following Black Holes

My favs were Starlight,Exo-Polotics,Map of the Problematiqué,Hoodoo, Solider's Poem, and Supermassive Black Hole (which reminded me of the Killers).

They just branched out into the world of pop, it wasn't horrible. That being said, it has more weak tracks than any of their other albums.
