Mine would be Butterflies and Hurricanes then Hysteria.. Muse is one of my favorite bands :)

Bliss or Citizen Erased, for me Origin of Symmetry is their best album. From the B-sides I'd choose Hyper Chrondiac Music or Shine.

So all the Twilight fans were like "OMGOMG WE SO WANT LIEK MUSE!!" (yes, they were the worst kind -___-), so my friend asked what song and they said (obviously) Supermassive Blackhole. He then said "I hear that song too much, tell me another song by them" and suddenly the whole room went silent... I really wish I was there to witness it.

Haha, true..I can't wait to hear some new songs from them :)

...continuing a very old conversation topic...

OMGOMGOMG I love "Supermassive Black Hole!!!"

;)

Actually, I do. :) And I only learned about the song because of the movie Twilight...and I like the movie Twilight, too! Ha! :D

I've tried listening to a few other Muse songs (besides "Supermassive Black Hole"), and I'll try giving "Butterflies" etc. a try. One of their recent songs I "tasted" seemed syrupy sweet and over-the-top. Didn't much like that one.

However, I do like "Undisclosed Desires," performed in a nice video below. So now I like two (2) Muse songs.

I've never listened to a whole album, though, so I have no clue which song comes off which and can't give an opinion about albums. I'm just not an album person. I have trouble patiently sitting through a whole album and listening intently to each and every song. That, and I own almost no music. That, and when I go on YouTube trying to listen to a whole album, I get impatient with the clicking, and distracted by other videos.

I like the rumbling low notes...a little like thunder, one of my favorite sounds. I also like the whole disturbed personality described, which seems somehow familiar to me. :/

Muse?! WTF?!

So now apparently Muse is doing dubstep.

Please be fake, please be a joke, or else I think I'll have to make up my own facts, namely that Muse broke up in 2012.

i'm at work so i can't hear it but I'm not shocked. That d-bag always struck me as a glory-hoping scumbag out for the case.

No big deal, they've just found a new audience of 14 year olds to pander to.

The funny thign is that in the comment section of the video 1/5 people is STILL optimistic. I call it blind fanboyism. I wouldn't accept it when Radiohead, for one, would start making brostep. At all.

Muse really have surpassed themselves

I thought they'd hit rock bottom with The Resistance but this is to be the cheesiest, most naff thing I've seen all year.

Post your thoughts I guess

Muse used to be kind of good as well but their jump into commercialism has caused their quality to drop massively, can you think of any other bands that have fallen this far?

Violent & Funky 06-07-2012 02:32 AM

Kings of Leon immediately spring to mind...
