the only downside was that they didn't have the special effects and lights like in sweet nothings pictures.. i don't know if it's because they don't do that at festivals in general or of its just because the orange stage at roskilde is the wrong shape or something.

i'd love to see one of their shows to get the full experience of a muse concert with lights and real fans (and not just people like me :b) but concerts with big bands are always way too expensive.
you should go with me some time then . I'm so sorry we didn't see the concert at roskilde together.

Wacky? I'm not sure I'd have used that word to describe their sound... if anything their sound has become more mainstream in recent years, IMO....

Errr, generally because they are uneducated, ignorant or don't really listen to alot of indie bands... they are really more mainstream alternative rock nowadays, I don't really think they were ever "indie" in the true sense of the word / concept anyways.

It doesn't mean they're bad for that reason, I quite love their work, yet i realise calling them "indie" is a bit of a farce...

Now that I think about it...I agree that Muse should definitely not be in the Indie section. I wouldnt consider them as Indie at all.

Can someone tell me what's the big thing about muse? Sure, Resistance is good but the other songs are nothing special.

Because their first 2 albums Absolution and Origin of Symmetry and despite a poor release with The Resistance, they're a respected band because they've been churning out solid albums for years.

Alright, never really listened to the first two, only the Resistance, witch I didn't like.
