It's the Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien now. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

Uprising is a pretty bland song, it would seem to follow that it would be bland live xD

Fairly true there! I'd say that song really doesn't serve the purpose of a lead out song from the album as a first single...not write off the whole album of course, just to say it does represent ot all well...

Well Uprising is the newest single off their new album, so it'd only make sense to promote it.

What are you talking about? It's a perfect representation of the new album. A blend of rock and pop with hints of prog, it's perfectly balanced. But let's not forget this is a pop album and probably their most accessible release yet. I heard in an interview that the band chose Uprising as the first song on the album because all the other opening tracks on their past albums sorta build up which is true, so it's interesting that they'd pick one that just go right into it.

Though the new album is good I hope the next one if more guitar dominated.

The new video for Uprising came out yesterday I think it's pretty good. Captures the theme of the song and turns it into something playful, like Teddy Bears going on a rampage.

I do think Muse employ more humor than most assume... theey do come across as fairly serious, intense, even.... but like that video you sometimes see little pieces of humor... I mean, I am sure there are laughs aplenty going on in rehearsals and whatnot...

Wow, I really like it. Definitely made me tolerate the song more, heh.
