Didn't someone say/ or didn't it say somewhere that the album was going to have classical influences? I was really looking forward to that. United States of Eurasia really didn't do it for me either

Relax. Only two songs have been released so far. Let's wait and hear the whole thing before getting disappointed, okay?

i've only got Absolution and Blackholes and Revelations but I love those 2 albums at least. not such a fan of their new releases but maybe they're growers. good band, lets give them the benefit of the doubt

I've downloaded something which appeared to be a leak but the quality was so bad I deleted it forthwith (lulz!). I'm not even sure the songs were right.

Alright, Uprising is a grower. I've been listening to it some more today and am enjoying it more than I did when I first heard it. Also the new album is supposed to be a concept album right? I mean from what I heard their does seem to be a linear story going on.

Also the album cover was released today and it's their best since OOS

Thats actually a pretty darn cool looking album cover! The notion of this being a concept album has me intrigued too... I'm a big fan of concept pieces.... if done well!

Yes, I listened to Uprising as well and it sure is better than USOE. Still not convinced but I'll hold my judgement until I hear the full album.

so far im worried about the album, both songs I've heard sound mediocre. I hope Muse can live on and not run into a wall.

Uprising is my least favorite Muse song as of right now, and United States of Eurasia is pretty low down there as well :\

Only one good thing will come of this IMO: they'll be more well-known. But that's if you consider that a good thing.
