Supermassive Black Hole is in the top 100 :(

They're pretty popular in North America but not nearly to the same extent as they are in the UK. I actually went to one of the Wembley shows when I was over there, jesus. Can't believe they sold out that place 2 nights in a row.

Yeah the Wembley shows would be one of the examples of the big gigs I referred to for sure. I wish I'd have been at one of those gigs actually.

Muse is the best band of all time

Matt's vocal range is astonishing

Chris' bass lines are so original and use awesome effects

Dom is a godly drummer especially in songs like assasin

I love 'em, but you went a little bit too far there, calling them best of all time...

Muse Announce New Album Title | News @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com
Album title reminds me of terminator or the matrix, but the orchestra idea intrigues me. The are also on tour with U2 right now as the opening act, I'd love to see them in concert but as the main act. They seem like they put on a great show as their music seems it was made to shake a stadium filled to maxium capacity with thousands of screaming fans.

Worst album title yet, but I can't wait to hear Matt's "symphonic monster" :)

OOS 06-13-2009 12:06 PM

Dom just posted a blog post saying that the disc is done and mixed. Also, United States Of Eurasia is a song title. This be out in September. This will be interesting.

Always felt very "meh" about Muse from the start... they were originally far too Radiohead knock off sounding, then I picked up on Matt Bellamy's vocal tic... that deep breath in you always hear during his vocals, ugh, for some reason that bugs me to no end...

The Abominable Homan 06-13-2009 10:06 PM

I've always found them fairly meh as well.

The only album I can truly enjoy is, strangely, Black Holes and Revelations. As far as I know, most Muse fans consider this worse than their older stuff.
