I don't dance :\
|
Well I'll have to teach you some time I got some sick moves. But srsly it's a great song, except I hate that it was on that movie twilight because now every time I look it up on last fm or you tube I have to read 'OMG this was on twilight!'
|
You'll find with a lot of fans who got into Muse before the last album dropped an elitist attitude towards any Muse fans who get into Muse because of Twilight, Knights of Cydonia in Guitar Hero, or the Starlight single. I can see where they're coming from, but I think Muse deserves any fans they get, regardless of the medium they arrived from.

i do like Muse actually, i've got Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. i like OOS better though

my brother really loves them, im just starting to get into them. because of this thread i think ill go steal some of his CDs tomorrow. . .

I recently got Origin of Symmetry and I have to say I think it's really good, my fav by far, followed by Showbiz, I only like 2 songs off Black Holes and I cant even listen to Absolution anymore, Matt's voice on there really annoys me.

Muse..Yes or No?
Ok...I was just writing a blog about Muse when something odd occurred to me. How many people have heard alot of the music from Muse? I don't listen to that much music on the radio so i am unaware of how much they are played.
So...are they popular here in the US, or did I just luck into them and not alot of people here know who they are? |
Muse are reasonably popular in the States now as far as I am aware. Absolution broke them over there and Black Holes I think was very successful there. They both went Gold in the States anyway. It wasn't always that way, I seem to remember the release of Origin Of Symmetry either got pulled over there or it failed and was very quickly deleted.
They are very successful in the UK. Three of their four records have gone top 10, 2 of them were #1 in our album charts and they have played some pretty big gigs. |
