yeah i'd say start from the beginning, though the newer stuff is probably more accessable....

as a huge radiohead fan myself though, you'll probably end up seeing them in the same light as coldplay

Just listen to Black Holes & Revelations, and if you don't like that, then give up; the entire remainder of their discography is absolute garbage.

What about The Origin of Symmetry? I heard that was the best way to start?

As long as it's not Showbiz then you're not going to go wrong. Even between Origin and Black Holes for me.

It's not by any means bad, but it's very hit and miss. Some great moments but some pretty average moments where it's not really them at their full capabilities yet. It's the one to go to last i'd say.

But then i'm not a huge fan of their other albums. I can't help listening out for Bellamy's intake of breath between each line.

I sometimes do that actually! And i thought i was the only one who was nuts...

I think "garbage" is a bit harsh, but they definitely have progressed over the years.

I would agree with the last post... they have definitely matured over the years. But, Absolution is every bit as tasty as Black Holes. The earlier ones are definitely an acquired taste.
