You know, I think it's more racist of those accusing him of racism for behaving as though Chinese people = all Asians. Morrissey saying the Chinese are animals is less racist than all of the 9/11 hatred directed towards an array of largely peaceful Muslims, and yet that seems to be acceptable? Was it offensive? Absolutely, but racist, no.
