Thanks for the link. Just finished listening to it. It's ... OK. Definitely an 80's vibe to it. I think the last 3 songs were the most interesting. But "Past Life" was probably the most entertaining cuz it was the goofiest. But overall he's taken out much of his bite/edge on this album. It reminds me of Fleetwood Mac when they came out with Mirage, much smoother and more polished than their previous stuff, but definitely lacking in edge. I'm sure it'll sell well though.

I really like Currents. The vocals and the sonic textures mix well with the neo-disco beats. I don't exactly understand why this band is so heavily associated with psychedelia, however.

To me, Innerspeaker sounds more like 1968 than does Lonerism.

The very first time I listened to Innerspeaker, when "Desire Be, Desire Go" played (2nd song) I was, like, "OMG this sounds like he went through a time warp to 1968."
