My first experience with the group, made it half way through the album and my feelings are pretty neutral. Normally my opinions change after a few listens, so I'll definitely get back around to it soon, but a little disappointing nonetheless.

I'm enjoying it for what it's worth so far, but imo it's probably the weakest thing in their discography. I dig the new vaguely hip-hop influenced direction, but I'd like to see it done justice. Their debut is still a masterpiece though, imo.

That's what set me off a little bit. Wasn't sure if the hip-hop influence was just part of their sound or if it was a new direction, but for something tagged as garage rock, it definitely caught me off guard.
