All great suggestions - Band of Susans are seriously underrated!

I saw The Telescopes live recently and it was pretty much just a noise gig - not much in the way of songs at all, just an all out feedback assault. It was good! Their first album is a good one for harsher shoegaze.

I'd suggest Bailter Space, WhateverDude.

They're more noise rock than shoegaze but they cross the line on occasion - like on this one.

I find that some of their songs can be a bit samey, but the guitar sounds they got were amazing. Good band though.

Default Some weirdo small Norwegians alt rock

These are some random Norwegians alt rock band on YouTube I came across. Has a nice weezer'ish vibe to it? A bit amateur sound, but sort of underground feel.

They're called Crashing Puppets.
