Default PLEASE recommend me some songs!? :)

Hello all, I am searching for new music (as usual)... I would really love it if some people could recommend me some specific songs.

Some songs which I love to give you an idea of what I'm after:

Comin' down by The View
I'm not your stepping stone - The Monkees

I will just name two so as not to confuse what I'm trying to discover... These two sum up what I'm after pretty much, fast paced guitar bands. Similar to the hives style I suppose.

Thanks

Default On an on

ON AN ON (formerly Scattered Trees) is probably my favorite band.
I'd start with their songs "Ghosts" "Drifting" and "Alright Alright"

You can't go wrong with Comrades, The Scarlet Son or Kingfisher. All great bands

Anybody have some remixes of songs by Spoon. I have been looking for a while now and cannot seem to get what I want. I am looking for a real change to the overall mood of Spoon's more popular tracks. Hit me up if anyone has any.

Going on a post-grunge marathon. Starting with One by One by FF, 3rd FF album I have played. I'm looking for some real quality reccomendations, some that are a little more obscure than Live, FF, Bush, and all that, and as good as some classic rock like LZ4 and DSOTM. Any ideas? Reeeaaaaallly good post-grunge.

So does anybody have any ideas?

Err... well cKy, Pop Unknown, and A Perfect Circle are sometimes seen as post-grunge but I don't really see it. Great bands regardless. Can't say I'm into a whole lot of post-grunge, as the genres largely forgettable.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Default Need Recommendation

Hello all!

I would like to widen my musical horizon
I've been listening to "The Milk Carton Kids" and I heard people comparing them to some older music (Simon and Garfunkel etc.)
If you can direct me to some good albums of that type, it would be greatly appreaciated.

Thanks in advance!
