Hey all! I'm new to this site, but I've been playing music since I was 5 and just found you all. Is there an appropriate place to share with you some of my recent projects to get some feedback? I just finished my first music video. :) Thanks! My music is indie type, and I like Adele and Coldplay a lot.

Do you have any recommendations for artists that are similar in style to Adele?

Can't wait to check out some of these groups. Thanks for the recommendations, guys.

I'm new here. I really like the Pixies, Radiohead, Portishead, Weezer, MGMT, and bands of that sort. I've got 12 dollars sitting around in my iTunes account, and I want to buy a new album from a band I don't listen to with it. Any recommendations?

My first post, so I might as well gush about one of my favorite bands ever. That being Lush. They were a British shoegaze band from the late 80s to the mid 90s. Great female vocals with good harmonies, and I always liked how their albums had so many different sounding songs. Definitely worth looking into, just make sure to search for "Lush band" or you may be inundated with perky 20-somethings preaching the gospel of explosively strong-smelling soaps. :p:

I think people have the wrong idea about these threads. It's not for you to come in randomly and suggest bands, it's for people to ask for recommendations and people to respond with recommendations.
