Just a heads up that Greg Laswell is pretty good. Not sure if he's considered Indie or Alternative but in my book he is and he's damn good.

I freaking love this man's voice. And this was a really good song to show! Thanks, love it.

Default Indie Music Suggestions?

Hello! So I'm kind of educated on indie music. I listen to Regina Spektor or Kate Nash mostly. (At least I'm pretty sure they are indie... Maybe more folky-esque.") But does anybody have any suggestions for some indie bands or singers that are any good? I love a good female vocalist for the most part with this genre but I won't be picky. Getting bored with the mainstream stuff right now, excuse the hipster moment, but indie musicians are always pretty refreshing to me.. Thanks!

I like Social Studies. Not Regina or Kate, that I also like, but it's good.

Hey all! I'm new to this site, but I've been playing music since I was 5 and just found you all. Is there an appropriate place to share with you some of my recent projects to get some feedback? I just finished my first music video. Thanks! My music is indie type, and I like Adele and Coldplay a lot.

Do you have any recommendations for artists that are similar in style to Adele?

I'm new here. I really like the Pixies, Radiohead, Portishead, Weezer, MGMT, and bands of that sort. I've got 12 dollars sitting around in my iTunes account, and I want to buy a new album from a band I don't listen to with it. Any recommendations?
