I'm loving Vanity Box from Nottingham at the moment. Quality band with quality tracks and a solid live show. Relatively small at the moment but are getting good press and good shows. Well worth checking out.

Hell yeah! They rock.

I listen to Two Door Cinema Club a lot recently and this is about the same genre this is going.

Default Looking for new music

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could recommend new music to me based on what I already listen to. Here's a list of what I like
The Raincoats- first LP
Shonen Knife- Burning Farm
Meat Puppets-Meat Puppets II and Up on the Sun
The Amps, The Breeders, Toadies, Spacehog.

I assume if you like The Meat Puppets you've also explored Violent Femmes? They have a lot in common, and they're both great.
As for The Breeders, the obvious comparisons are Pixies and The Throwing Muses because of member overlap.

I listen to Two Door Cinema Club too and also this great band called Wolf Gang. French Films is pretty good too.
