nambucca london new bands
Saw some good unsigned bands at nambuca in London a couple of weeks ago, if your looking for a good gig night the sound there is really good.
The band's I saw were havalina heat, assembly, the deadly tremors and the outsiders. I can't seem to find the right pages for all of them on the net, but I found assembly and the deadly tremors easily from a google search. If anyone can help out recommend any bands like the two above I would really appreciate it. (unfortunately I haven't posted enough to put url links on here, so please have a google and get back to me) |

Math Rock Rec's?
I like math rock but pretty much only if it sounds in the vein of Owls/Ghosts and Vodka/Piglet/Tera Melos. The more noisy stuff usually irritates me, I like structure and hooks. No structure or hooks and after a few minutes I'm lost and disinterested. Hella's Tripper ('11) and Hold Your Horses ('02) are the only albums I've heard that are more noisy but still enjoyable for me. Anyone have any rec's for stuff I should seek out?
Edit: Also, my bad fer makin the extra thread- didn't know it worked like this :o Last edited by Batman; 06-03-2012 at 10:36 PM. |

No worries about the extra thread batman, it will give me some new music to have a look through :-)
Not sure if the deadly tremors are gonna be the kind of music you like, but well worth checking out, feel free to stick some more music you would recommend on here |

I figured this was the thread for unsigned/indie bands, from when I posted about assembly and the deadly tremors?
U got any good reccomendatons I can have a listen to? Saw some bands at the sanctuary in Basingstoke tonight, pick of the bunch for me were freespirit if u like old school punk the kinky boot beasts might be up your street, but not really my cup of tea. So far my 100% recommendations are: The deadly tremors and freespirit Please chuck some cool bands on here, so I can find more bands to listen to :-) |
