I'm looking for bands similar to the Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie, The Paper Kites, WIM, She and Him, Mumford and Sons, and The Dear Hunter.

You should check out Young the Giant. They're pretty new to the scene- but a fantastic band

i've heard some of their songs - though the standard-tuning slide guitar is good, i don't think their melodies are really that good

Default New Indie Acoustic Bands

Does anyone on here know of any new indie acoustic bands anywhere that I can find on youtube? I'm looking to get some new music to talk about at school and I'm beginning to run out...So, if anyone's got any, let me know. Thanks.

Default Brand New

Hey I'm new to this website, and was wondering if anyone would like to give me a basic idea of whats going on?? Also I love Indie, in fact I'm friends with 2 of the five members of a relatively new Indie group called Sons Of Mercury. I was wondering if anyone has anyone got any band's/musican's that I should now about??

Nervous Cabaret are worth checking out. Pretty cool sound. I'd recommend their self-titled.
