When I Was A Teenager (singer, indie, American, title)

WIWAT was an indie/emo band created to the likings of American Football, Joan Of Arc. They went to the same college that Ben Barnett (Kind Of Like Spitting) went to, and even recorded the last song on the EP "Winters In Chicago" with him.

So, pretty much, I found out about them because my 8th grade teacher was best friends with the singer (I think it was the singer, whatever), and she gave me the EP. They're fantastic.

That's not THEIR myspace, I made it over the summer and forgot to put all the songs on the EP on there, so there's only three. And 'New Song' isn't new, I had just forgotten the title. That's the one with Ben in it.
