I pulled out my Ahleuchatistas album today, Even in the Midst... Definitely a good example of math rock. I've owned it a few years but this was probably only my 3rd time listening to it. Took some time to get into I guess, as it's definitely noodly at times. But today I liked it a lot more than before, picked out some good grooves and melodies not apparent before. I may be ready to check out their other works.
![]() As for Shellac. I got 1000 Hurts maybe around 2003 but didn't really start digging it till last year, after having it shelved for many years. I then checked out At Action Park which hasn't grown on me as much...but maybe it'll take time too. It's not bad of course it just hasn't moved me too much.
