I would have to say this thread is 60 pages of the most pointless bickering (Modest Mouse are sellouts! No they're not! Yes they are!) and irrevelant chatter (Chavs? wtf?) I have ever read.

Who posted that 5-part Youtube documentary about Modest Mouse? It was around page 30. I watched it all, and it was great. Some really fascinating interviews with Isaac Brock and the band back in the 90s. Any history on that documentary? Apparently the filmer died or something.

I just saw Modest Mouse last week, and they blew me away. I would have to say the highlights of the show were when they played Doin' the ****roach (everyone EXPLODED it was so crazy) and Cowboy Dan at the very end. They played Float On and Dashboard too, but honestly I would have been perfectly content without them. The only problem I had with the show is that they took 1.5 hours to come on after the opening band, and they were pretty rude. I only wish Isaac had like US at least a fraction as how much we liked him.

I haven't listened to their full discography. I've listened to all 5 LPs but not all of the EPs. I would have to say my favorite order would be:

The Moon and Antarctica=Lonesome Crowded West>Good News=Long Drive> We were Dead...

But I love King Rat too! What a freakin great song.

They came to a town just a few minutes away from where I live last week. Unfortunately I was hundreds of miles away that week, in North Carolina.

****.

I ****ed up getting to the Boston shows myself. I thought "they're playing sunday AND monday - i'll be able to just walk up to the booth!" clearly forgetting which city I live in.

Yeah, they played back-to-back nights here too. Is that normal for them?

There's more than one version? I have the version that is on Heath Ledger's music video. Which one is that? And where do I get the other one?
