Default Babyshambles VS Dirty Pretty Things

So all your libertines fans know about how Pete Doherty and Carl Barat went their separate ways to form two separate bands with... two separate styles.

Which do you prefer?

It's a tough choice, really. I enjoy Pete's softer voice and calmer, poetic songs like "Last of the English Roses" and "I Love You (But You're Green), with a few resentful ones like "**** Forever" and "Do You Know Me"... But I really love Carl's musical genious in DPT's continued garage rock revival music e.g. "B.U.R.M.A.," "Blood Thirsty Bastards," "The Last of the Small Town Playboys"...

But all in all my vote goes with DPT. I think musically, they are on top. Their tones are clean and always on, reminding me of more strokes-y type stuff. Also I love the upbeat alt. rock style, with lyrics just as poetic.

Babyshambles is a mess, which I love as well, but just doesn't click as much as DPT does with me.

What about the rest of you former Libertines fans?
