Default Cryptacize

I feel these guys need a bit more exposure. They play a brand of Indie Rock laden with an inflected, dreamy folk influence, coupled with jagged guitars and off-kilter time signatures. They sound like they've come from the 60's psych-folk boom. They're melodies are beautiful, whilst their sound and lyrics have at times a melodramatic feel, but this isnt a criticism, it all works wonderfully. The album Mythomania is in my top 5 of 2009 and i would recommend people checking it out. Below are some videos of pretty great songs.

They remind me of a scratchy, odd version of Saint Etienne for some reason. At first I didn't know what to make of them but a couple of listens and I'm liking. It lacks a little focus and the guitar is a little too dominating at times but I do like.

Yeah i can see the St Etienne likeness. I like the whimsicality of it, whilst the guitar gives it it's mood and atmosphere in my opinion.
