Mogwai (and don't dismiss them till you've seen them live - a guy I know in Washington DC ate his words and became a full-blown fan, despite anything he said, after a live show. Listen to the song My Father, My King and you'll get the drift.)
Belle and Sebastian - Songs: Fox in the Snow, Like Dylan in the Movies, Lazy Line Painter Jane, Don't Leave the Light on Baby... actually its all good. There's lots to choose from.
Super Furry Animals - Album: Radiator
Gorkys Zygotic Mynci - anything, its all good.
Delgados - Anything but the most recent album, I never got into that so much. The rest is all good.

^ Im familiar with all those 'cept Gorkys. SFA and B&S are okay, so are the delgados. i'll check out some of these songs.
