I think LCD are brilliant. I found them and discovered taht they make the perfect music when you have a bunch of friends in teh car on a spring day. DAft Punk is so easy to memorize, and I just yell the lyrics whenever I have a good sized commute to drive. I also think North American Scum has teh most brilliand lyric in it, ever "you may still think we're from england...uh, we're not"...wel, mabey second to "kicking squealing gucci little piggy (paranoid android)"...anyhow, I cracked up when I first heard that.

Sound of Silver was equal parts fail and win.

At least where it won, it won hard (Get Innocuous, North American Scum, Watch the Tapes).

I've just been listening to Remain In Light. It suddenly struck me: just HOW damn derivative is Sound Of Silver of Talking Heads?

This may either be beyond the point or relevant, that doesn't interest me. Just wondering if anybody else noticed the sonic similarities between SOS and Remain In Light.

Wow...I've never actually listened to TH before now and I have to admit that you're right. Freakishly similar in fact. I still lovez SOS tho...:\

READ ALL THE PAMPHLETS AND WATCH THE TAPES! Sound of Silver is an amazing album. LCD is pretty much what got me into electronica. Anybody hear Franz Ferdinand's cover of All My Friends on the A Bunch of Stuff EP?
