Not bad, not too different from the other stuff. Wouldn't think of them as a singles band though and will wait for the album.

Agreed. The more I listen it the more it reminds me of North American Scum. Can't wait for May.

This Is Happening is definitely the best album I've heard so far this year. I think it's more consistent then Sound of Silver. I might even like it more after some more listens.

i have heard it all about 3 times. to be honest, most of the songs don't do a lot for me. but "dance yourself clean" and "one touch" are great. vastly inferior to Sound of Silver. most of the songs are just meandering around without much point. my mind may change, but I doubt it...

I saw them live at Coachella '07. it was before i even knew em... they are awesome!

It's just as good in my opinion (I could be judging prematurely though)

Standouts for me are Dance Yrself Clean, All I Want, Hit, and Home/What You Need (apparently Home might not be the title of the track, I don't know though)

What You Need is the correct title. And after the first listen, it's a big disappointment for me. All I Want is the only standout, Hit/Pow Pow/What You Need are okay. The rest are mediocre to poor, Drunk Girls is kind of cringe-worthy.

Is their first album a double album? Or is that like a special release or what?

If it was made as a double album then 100 minutes for a debut album :eek: ambitious or what

Anyhoo, I got to about half of the new album. Kind of a letdown to be honest. Stylistically it sounds like the b-side of Sound of silver, they don't seem to have progressed much in the last 3 years. I can change is pretty much All my friends.

Wow....pow wow is basically a mashup of Us vs. them and yr city's a sucker. Someone was seriously low on inspiration. Kinda embarrassing actually.

I thought it'd be a special addition. I wanna know the actual album track listing and listen to the actual album, the special edition was just too long, good if you're already a fan but bad if you're not.

When I looked on Wiki it had 2 disks, I wasn't sure if the second disk was part of the album. Usually they have the initial release and then a special release as well.. but there was nothing like that

I actually have a sneaky suspicion they'll go for some cowardly neutral 7.something. They've already praised the single but they usually go for innovative/unusul vs. repetative. I'm counting on them to cool everything down a bit to its just proportion...:\
