You only include what comes after the '=' sign, i.e.

Then just wrap the youtube tags around it.

I must admit to not ever hearing any Microphones stuff but I really like Mount Eeries 'no Flashlight' album. Wonderfully atmospheric. Still unsure about the latest 'Wind's Poem'. The lo fi production is almost TOO lo-fi for me.

I personally loved Wind's Poem, but then I'd also say xinlisupreme is one of my favorite noise bands The noisy tracks are fantastic, and they blend them with just the right amount of softer, more chilled out/relaxing tracks. It's really drony music, which I often don't like that much, but there is something captivating to me about the lyrics, and the sound of his singing just coming through the fuzz. I think the reason I like it so much would be the exact some reason I like some extremely lo-fi stuff like xinlisupreme - I really enjoy having a brutal wall of drony distortion and fuzz with a melody or vocals that are audible but not on top, sort of like My Bloody Valentine except with vocals you can actually make out. "Between Two Mysteries" is my favorite song from the album though, surprisingly enough. That's also probably my favorite Phil Elverum song.

The Glow pt. 2 is a strange album. You listen to it the first time and you think it's nothing but a disjointed, incoherent mess lacking any sense of focus or direction. Then you're sitting there one night and, remembering it, for some reason feel impelled to give it another go. On the second listen i thought it was very, very good... I have no explanation for this, only that it did the same thing to me as Trout Mask Replica did.

That said, i prefer Mount Eerie; my favourite Elverum album is Lost Wisdom, whilst Wind's Poem is one of the better releases from last year.

honestly, the glow pt. 2 gets a lot of hype from people, but it is one of the few albums that really deserves it. you do not hear a lot of bands being truly innovative and tasteful anymore. All the good stuff that is out now seems to just be nods to great musicians that came before it. which is not a bad thing at all but enhances albums like the glow pt. 2 that really present the listener with something that they have never heard before. not without influences obviously, but it really is different. phil elverum's broken, sparse voice, the recording technqiues, the tasteful and awesome use of distortion, the beautiful and haunting melodies. it is raw, it is beautiful, it is authentic, it is different. all very hard things to come by.

under the mount eerie moniker, listen to black wooden ceiling opening. awesome, awesome, awesome. especially don't smoke. wow.

I listened to that earlier today. Really beautiful stuff, very sparse, minimal, but with those blasts of noise every once in a while, exactly what I'd expect from a Mount Eerie album. The lyrics are fantastic in the same way that the lyrics from an album like Benji are, he doesn't really tell a story or do anything elaborate, he just kinda talks about any sort of thought that crosses his mind and it's fascinating.
