I downloaded "Ready for the Weekend" last week and I have only listened to it about twice.

So far , I like the tracks stars come out, ready for the weekend and of course dance wiv me.

He's been working with Dizzee alot lately

I also like this track that he produced with The Mitchell Brothers called Michael Jackson

How did this thread end up in here? Surely Calvin comes under the electronica umbrella?

Nope, his album says he's Alternative. Bearing in mind he isn't always Electronica, Dance Wiv Me etc, wasn't electronic. I think he is mainly Electronic, but he comes under Alternative according to his album.

But, but Last.fm never lies

Anyway I like Calvin, he's pretty cool. Loved Acceptable in the 80's and used t play it non-stop when I was driving. I'm ashamed to say that I haven't really given Ready For The Weekend a decent run, I had better get on it I suppose.

Genuinely love the guy, I think he's one of the best mainstream artists out there undoubtedly. His songs are catchy as hell and always have a steady consistently great beat.
