King Charles
Awesome band from London. Semi-dark themes but with definite upbeat sound makes for a very pleasant, danceable listen. To my knowledge you can only get a couple of songs of iTunes currently seeing as they're not massive (yet! ) with them and a few more on their myspace KING CHARLES on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
First came across these guys on my way to watch another band at Glasto. They were playing at the BBC Introducing thread and I popped in because I had time and was liking the vibe. Fell in love with the backing singer and bassist ... oh and the sound too. Seeing them soon where they open for Mumford & Sons. Check out Time of Eternity, very nice little ditty.

Haha yeah! I saw them at a gig a couple of nights ago, incredibly good. Charles did get a bit carried away with soloing on his guitar at one point, which brings out this classic expression of "oh god, what's he up to now" on the bassist. They have some videos up on youtube:
They're a bit more raw and less complicated live. Or more complicated in some ways, depends on how good the sound man is at balancing the levels :P
