Haha, I thought something was. They played a few of the songs in Charlie Bartlett, I think it was Fresh Feeling and Hey Man (Now You're Really Living) but I don't remember for sure. It's been a long time since I saw either of those movies. Great band, but I still have to listen to Blinking Lights and Other Revelations.

i agree about the latest album - not very extraordinary

i've been enjoying his non-eels stuff lately, including his two early releases as 'E' and his album released under the name MC Honkey. slightly different sound, lots of fun to listen to

I've never listened to much of their stuff but heard this song (That Look You Give That Guy - won't embed) on the radio and it took a couple of listens but I think it's just beautiful.

Found out about this band a few weeks ago when I did my "indie only" weekend and was recommended their 1998 album Electro-Shock Blues which I really enjoyed listening to.
