They suck. The vocal annoys me, and they bring nothing new to the table. Just yet another overhyped NME band...

Okay I have to agree with those who said La Roux is a little Lady Gaga wannabe. But its good stuff.. It's not really my style, but I like a few songs. But overall its seems over the top, over done.
I like the similarity to Ladyhawke though. But I have to say I like Ladyhawke better.

I wouldn't call La Roux a Lady Gaga wannabe. Just an 80s pop wannabe. Which is fine because that's obviously what they're going for. But yeah, I think they're alright. Catchy songs. Plenty of good remixes out there of their songs. The lead singer annoys me though. She comes across as an angsty little brat in interviews. Oh well.

I saw the video for "Bulletproof" on MTV a few weeks ago so I decided to listen to the whole CD. Not terrible, but not technically good. Catchy and fun to sing along to. I really like "Cover My Eyes" and "Tigerlily".

I hate bulletproof and in for the kill, but i like the remaining songs on the album, as you said, not too shabby
