she may try new things, good on her. but for me they just dont work.
her stuff really doesnt appeal to me, her voice ahhhhh, goes right through me.

Really liking these guys lately. Been listening to their cd so much these past couple months, so had to dig to find their thread and bump it. ><
Almost every song on this disc really stands on its own imo, with only 2 or maybe 3 fillers. Her voice was a minor annoyance at 1st I have to admit, but I got over that quick, and now I feel like it adds alot to their songs. I can definitely understand though why people would be put off by it. I'm not the kinda person that makes top 10 lists for a year or whatever. If I was though, then this would probably get serious consideration from me to go on my '09 list, based on how many times I've listened to the album. Sorta embarrassing maybe, as I'm not usually a pop fan...but yeah...good stuff. 0_0 |
