Even Rude - Bump & Uglies?
 

Anyone have ANY idea what happened to these guys? I recently moved to LA, stoked that maybe I'd hear something from them in some music circle or another, but nada. It saddens me, they were such a great band imo, Chris King's voice was really something else!

I have a question for everyone though, as I've been highly desperate for this album (last I heard it was over 5 years ago! D: Ugh! ) Anyone living in the LA area know an oldschool or highly overstocked ska/indie music store section that could point me in the direction of this CD? :3

yeah, I think it was like a demo album or something, oddly enough it looks like it came out after Superabsorbent: musicmademe.com/album/10254 (won't let me paste a url, but just copying&pasting that should work. Greatgreat musics). Most of them are live recordings as I remember, but wonderfully sung -swoon- :D

I used to listen to it all the time. I can't remember if it was Gravity or Evangelita, but there's an opera bit he sings as a farce at the end I guess, but I fell in loveee~~ I still have it memorized, more or less XD; I really wish someone had that album. I'd totally cough up $100 for it
