i think snow patrol for most people has that kind of sound you can listen to every once and a while but too often can make it sound kind of annoying, which is basically how all generic bands are.
I truthfully like them though, well now (hey antonio can you pm me that link?) |

Me and my mates used to be really big on the 'Final Straw' album when it first came out and it still stands out as a good album, just Ive heard much better since then.
I also found out a few years back that Snow Patrol had been putting albums out since like the late 90s and had 2 or 3 before 'Final Straw' which I had originally thought, at the time, that it was infact their debut. As for the 'Eyes Open' I thought the 'You Are All That I Have' song was alright but the album in general was poor. I think I sold it a while ago. |

Giving eyes open a solid listen today, I have to say it's really good. I really like the songwriting on here. They are going with what works but not getting too redundant. A friend of mine introduced me to them a few years back but they didn't really stick at first. This is the first album of theirs that I've actually had (thanks antonio) and I have to say it will get more than one listen. 7/10.

That's funny coming from a Radiohead fan.

Mirrorball is right they're very experienced as far as musicianship is concerned they've been making albums since they were like 16 or 17 years old ,its good to see a band as a unit playing some decent tunes even if you dont like them you gotta say they are very talented.
