These groups are probably given lots of attention for being the orgasm-of-the-year for total request junkies. do you think anyone woulda cared about modest mouse's new record if they didnt sign to a major label. after all, their older cd's were just as good if not a lot better than Good News. And, interpol's cd was overrated, not any better than Turn off the bright lights. and, franz- please. That 'take me out' song will probably be their bread and butter for the rest of their lives. And, the hives- i have no comment, because i never liked them or listen to them closely. Couple of others that werent that great were the Thrills album (just listen to it), the new Cure, and the beastie boys (highly overrated).
