great band. a souped up, electro- sizzled version of the white stripes. the album is class.

i saw this really cool thing on them last year, or the beginning of this year. i was blown away at their sound! i haven't heard about their album though, just a few songs! they seem so genuine too from what i saw, it was cool!

went to see them and it was one of the best gigs ive ever been to, supported by metric.....equally awsome and innovative..... but dfa 79 were awsome. its incredible how 2 guys can make so much noise with such precision (like the white stripes but both guys) and the singer/drummer does an amaing job. just try siniging and drumming at a mental pace for a couple of hours and get it bang on, not easy, class act bassically

I like Metric, very good band.

As far as DFA goes, I wouldn't mind going to pay to see them, but they don't really play the kind of style I can listen to for longer than 30 minutes.

the album is actually quite diverse though. its not all the same run of the mill amped up fuzz-fest singles like romantic rights and blood on our hands portray. its got some more melodic, softer moments too. such as black history month. great song.

They are an awesome and quite unique band. The most recognizable drum and bass duo also. I have a lot of respect for the drummer, because he is also the lead singer. I would love to see these guys live. My favorite tracks are "Black History Month", "Turn it Out", "Blood On Your Hands", "Girl U R Lovely", and "Better Off Dead".

Words cannot describe how much I love this band. I got the album in January on import (I couldn't wait for it to be released in the UK) and it hasn't really been off my stereo since.
