It's not ****gaze, it's just lo-fi pop now, there's chillwave influences on tracks like micky mouse but that does not make it chillwave.
wavves his early stuff could be considered ****gaze but in my opinion it were just noisy, lo-fi pop records.

^I got that too. I saw No Age a couple years ago at Bumbershoot and their concert was completely incomprehensible. I can imagine Wavves being like that live too.

i heard king of the beach today after pretty much avoiding it at all costs.
and they actually don't suck as much **** as i thought they would.
in fact, i kinda like them. oh ****, i'm becoming a hipster.

Nate had a pretty good backing band (from Jay Reatard). I think the drummer recently left, and now he has the drummer from the Mae Shi.
