From Her To Eternity sounds more like TBP than basically the rest of the Bad Seeds discography.

Prayers on Fire is the best Birthday Party album imo. Check it out if you haven't.

I will, thanks. This track rules.

Someone once gave me a collection of everything TBP had ever recorded, downloaded off SoulSeek I think, and it wasn't the ideal introduction cause there was just too much stuff on there including live performances etc, too much to sort through, although some of it was clearly brilliant.

Yeah, that's not the way you want to listen to TBP. My advice - check out Prayers on Fire first and if you dig it, peep Junkyard. It's up for grabs which album is better - you be the judge.
