I'll listen again tomorrow because I lost track of time while the album played and before I knew it my YouTube had already cycled to another album of his. I like to take a new album in its entirety. I feel a bender coming on and I'm looking forward to getting to know more of his songs better.

I'm the same exact way, if the opener is nothing to write home about, it's usually always a done deal for me. I still give the record a listen, it just leaves a sour taste in my mouth. His last records great, Abbatoir Blues is a double record but equally fantastic. His 90's stuff is good too. I think it pales in comparison though to his post-2000's work. That's just me though.
